Reflections by Martin Luther King: Because it is right

Reflections on 21-23 December 2012: Leonid Snitsi

21/12/12 has passed and gone. Creators and innovators will have plenty of work ahead of them to help us with alternatives and solutions to the mess to which our unconscious society has contributed, (all of us directly/indirectly).
The blinking light ships "awaiting" to take us off this bruised planet to the Seven Sisters and/or beyond are still flashing on and off in the skies here and there and the waves of spiritual energy sweeping through our world - according to the galactic channelers - that were supposed to propel us into a Golden Age/New World  (4th/5th/6th dimensional: take your pick) have swept into mainly the belief systems of their conjurers. Empirical evidence simply does not support a different conclusion unless you are a sitting on a mountain top and munching magic mushrooms. Now that is OK in itself as its a democratic right to create beliefs of all kinds: the problem is that they present these as (some copyrighted) realities that are about as tuned in vibrationally as an ant to a lobster. We should have guessed that we were in trouble when Higher Angelic beings assigned copyright exclusivity to their channellers that jealously protected their sacred information in the true spirit of an open and freely shared abundant universe.
And that might just be passable too if they were not trying to persuade a number of their followers that their angelic views were facts.
Deadlines of all sorts from surrender or containment of the dark ones, to the release of free energy, free money (Fed is already doing that but helping themselves and other Brotherhood Central Banks), the unleashing of the martial arts liberators to take down the financial tyrants came and went and we the "dear ones" could remain assured that support was as imminent as the heavenly decrees stated they would be - well at times! Those too changed their positions: to interfere or not to interfere. Green light or red lights?
One just needs to see increasing parts of a formerly wealthy Europe falling into poverty and desperation to see that an awakening is taking place - forced by deprivation, taxes upon taxes strangling the economies, regulatory and fiscal restrictions on SME enterprises and yes, now even hunger as more people turn to Charitable canteens. Not to mention the horror of millions continuing to die daily in underdeveloped economies. Perhaps these mediums should travel a bit more and see what is actually happening outside of their heads.
The reality based on an analysis of several years of complete archived data points to the fact that this is part of a grand scheme to speculate from, profit and mislead people for a range of different interests and ideologies. We cannot exclude that the worst case is that their IQ/EQ poses an interesting possibility for genetic investigation or a psychiatric research topic.

The same old rehashed information of "closeness' and support by our interstellar brothers and sisters, (we have sky patrols all over the world busy hoovering radiation and pollution and looking after our well being by, you know, patrolling) is still being propagated with a frequency that is staggering and many remain conned once again into believing their salvation is neigh whilst many have lost all hope, and ignorance continues to prevail.

Massacres continue, repression continues, nothing has yet changed in the economic financial system or media outlook, in short all the utopic scripts regurgitated for years on the dawning of the new Golden Age have proved null and void. Channeled messages have been confused, bewildering, defensive and utterly useless in achieving their stated objective if not as reflection of the cerebral processes of its authors. These "Lightworkers" need to either recharge their batteries or get some new headlights so they can see where they are really going. To plunge a number of their readers into desperation and anger is hardly "lightwork" by any standard. If they have taken donations for their failed "feeds", that puts them into a more serious moral category of mini mad-offs.
Thankfully a number of what appeared and were claimed to be the largest coalition of alleged "top security clearance insiders" that have ever "emerged" from secret government military and intelligence communities in the history of mankind (the British got close to this record during the cold war) self imploded or just disappeared proving incapable of doing anything at all - much to the frustration of the White Knights, Purple Hats, White Dragons or Pink Elephants. In fact many were as bewildered as a penguin might be expected to be walking down 5th avenue and being asked for his views on the current economic situation. These "insiders" got every assessment wrong from the take down of the cabal (military, civilian, federal marshals, posse riders) to the readiness of the new financial system and political allies. Those who were more spiritually and galactically inclined and who invested the President of the US with "Christed" status or as a being from the stars have also largely lost their credibility - except those that are programmed clones built in China for 2012 and parroting the great virtues of our drone trigger saviours. These contradictions and their attributions are already beginning to make their way into the public sphere and will culminate with a comprehensive review of the 2012 Frenzy to be released sometime next year from multiple perspectives and sources.

The wisest and most grounded people that truly helped to inspire others with their consistency and wisdom were the only victors in this game, and they probably did not make as much money but remained true to their heart. Their message is that echoed by all masters/thinkers from ancient traditions that understood that real change and permanent liberation comes from starting to exercise our judgement on what those that are elected to represent us deliver and through their spiritual transformation. Not from outer space which even if true is just another matrix-ed reality.
To them we owe a special hug of gratitude for keeping reasoning people feeling that humanity still has a chance.

It will be another 26,000 or so years before another wheel of time comes to an end.
Changes will come and go as they have always done...so whatever will they come up with next?

The Importance of Spiritual Preparedness - Rene’ Descartes

I am human.

If you “sense” that big changes are coming, you’re right. And consider this: You can physically prepare until you think you are nearly invincible, but you can lose it all in an instant. Social, political, or natural forces could disrupt or wipe out your preparations. Even the most powerful governments can’t withstand the forces of nature or acts of God. We aren’t saying to ignore physical preparedness by any means. But everything can be taken from you, or destroyed, EXCEPT your consciousness, what you have made of yourself within, and what might be called your soul. So THAT should be our first priority when it comes to preparedness.

Consider this: We will all die someday anyway, disasters or not, and again, spiritual (not religious) preparations will be all that matters then. Furthermore, we’re also not just talking about preparing yourself for some kind of possible “doomsday scenario” – we have our day to day lives to deal with right now. What kind of world do you want to live in now, in the future, or an “afterlife”? If you want to live in a kind, caring, loving, creative world, then you must have made yourself into that kind of person in order to belong in it.

We aren’t talking about religion; we’re talking about true spirituality.

Things like – what kind of person you are – what you think you are – what you are aware of – what your personal “reality” is. True preparedness should cover all possibilities and improve our life even if nothing ever happens. Realizing the “real” you is not just a body, personality, or accumulation of memories and programming, is the first step. Becoming a true spiritual being (who just happens to be inhabiting a physical body right now), is the next step.

Just follow the Golden Rule of unselfishly loving others, and become an unselfishly loving, fearless, harmless person – that is the purchase price of your ticket to a better world. It’s a “win/win” situation, regardless of what happens in the future, or when your “time is up”. If that all sounds like what you want in life, “The Golden Rule” can help you reach that goal, regardless of your faith, or religious philosophy or lack thereof. It’s a non-denominational guide of simple techniques for using “Pure love” to improve your life, and the world.

Imagine a world where you and everyone else, “does as you would have done unto you”. Wow. But you can’t change others directly. You can only change yourself, and then “affect” others. So it starts with you. And you can only change yourself. But just by doing that, you’ll find that your whole life will change around you. You can have and be, a truly “good neighbour”, a good friend, and have great relationships with everyone who wants to join you in your quest.

You have heard people say, “You must love yourself first, before you can love others”. Well, we have observed many selfish jerks doing that, who do nothing to help anyone but themselves, and they’re still miserable themselves. But if you love others first, you become a good person. If you help others, how can you not feel good about yourself also? IT’S IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO LOVE YOURSELF ALSO when you love others first.

Isn’t anything that “brings out” the best in us, like compassion and kindness, good? Whether it’s a philosophy, religion, a method, a mother or father, or whatever? If it works for you, and makes you a better person (rather than a self-righteous egotistical and selfish person), we think that’s great. As for you, you still have a change to pass the grade, before your body dies (and it will) if you focus on the real issues, because the time is really short. Stop your selfishness and narcissism and truly become kind, loving, caring, compassionate, helpful, selfless and harmless toward all the people around you, but above all, love the creator of all, (or whatever the name or concept you use for him) with all your humility and appreciation from the bottom of your heart and soul, now that you know this.

Forget all the useless rituals and traditions, they have been worn out and has long since lost their capability to enlighten and uplift mankind. So just be kind and loving, and be genuine towards everybody. You see, if you haven’t made the grade, when you leave the body you are now using, you will have a real and very unpleasant problem to deal with, when you do leave your body in the near future. Humanity will, very soon, experience the “day of reckoning”, and it’s going to be great.

Now, at the present time, we are all being helped individually with insight, wisdom and knowledge from the Universal Consciousness and the knowledge are being distributed according to the quality and the level of the Consciousness of the individual. This is also how some of this information came about.

The teachings the perfect ones gives give us, is always about the future, and what we will have to do now to reach perfection and Enlightenment in the future.

About our individual Consciousness, those who have a lot now, to them more will be given, and to those who has little now, to them, what little they have, will be taken away.

New knowledge and enlightenment will never come to vicious people with petty vices—thieves, bandits, alcoholics, selfish people, greedy and power hungry people, people seeking fame and position—and those who aren’t willing to change themselves for the better. They will all soon be leaving this planet for a long time to come. The insight and the information you have with whatever Universal Conscious awareness you have, will play the most important role to help you make the right decisions and preparations in the coming earth changes that are expected to slowly begin now, until 2025. And after that, when it all calms down, a time of perfect unity and cooperation will begin on Earth.

It is also important to distinguish the Logos (Universal Consciousness) from the soul named Jesus. Any person in the world has the potential of becoming a Logos (Fully Conscious) but it was the soul known as Jesus who actually incarnated as a Logos and therefore became a Christ on Earth. And all of mankind has the very same potential.

Plan your life in this world as if you expect to live forever; but plan for the hereafter as if you expect to die tomorrow.

Kahlil Gibran - The Prophet (The Razor Edge Of Self-Knowledge) By Julian Colgan

(The Razor Edge Of Self-Knowledge)
Self-knowledge is all of those days
spent in the silence of your heart.
When your ears pursue the steady
beating of your heart's knowledge,
words of wisdom are bound to your lips
and all that was known by others
 is now known by you.
If the infinity of your soul
were to sing with the ocean's roaring waves,
the scales of impermanence
would not be able to measure or weigh
the profundity of your soul's treasure bound eyes.
Unable to outlive the beginning and end of self-knowledge,
you are as boundless as every truth naturally is.
Finding a truth and finding a path to follow,
your soul's quest for beauty
is never straight and never curved.
Unfolding like an unending lotus flower,
count no more the steps you take,
for in one step is every step.

Kahlil Gibran - The Prophet (Giving From The Soul) by Julian

(Giving From The Soul)
Little is given when possessions
are exchanged in return
for various kind sentiments.
Those who truly give only give of themselves.
Only possessing humility and a desire
to serve, all man made possessions
are but objects that are kept
out of fear of losing them to time's demands.
Like a dog who hides its collection of bones
in a trackless desert, a prophet
need not do the same,
for where is the holy city
but in the newness of Life.
Possessing an unquenchable thirst,
desire drains all of the water
from the well of your holiness,
thus leaving you desiring for the sake of desiring.
Many are they who give a tiny portion
of their great abundance;
but due to their lack of sincerity,
fame and recognition is all that
they will receive from Life's epicness.
Though having nothing as their own,
the greatest of givers
is he or she who bypasses their worries
for tomorrow and serves the Lord
who never runs dry.
Either giving of yourself
through pain or joy,
that recognition of having to share
is everyone's baptism into holiness.
For those who are completely motiveless,
it is no longer the small "I" which gives,
but the biggest "I" of this sacred earth.
Motivated by the sheer joy
of finding someone who will willingly
receive the gifts of the soul's wholeness,
do not withold from pouring
your heart out to such persons.
Like bountiful trees and mountainous hills,
nothing is held back from the masses of men and women.
Not fading away because of innate generosity,
to give is to continue to live under
the starry nights of eternal slumber.
After having drunk from Life's limitless streams,
surely others can fill the cup of their souls
with the water which emanates from
your small stream of compassion.
Life giving of itself to all of its limitless streams,
Life wants to spread its influence
through your singular stream.
Taking nothing for granted,
rise with the Giver of Life
and praise the Ever Grateful Mother.

Kahlil Gibran - The Prophet by Julian Colgan

(Love's Ways)
The stillness of a dove
is of the prophet's peace to mankind.
Though following the voice of love
is a steep hill to climb,
love does not wait for the indolent and lazy.
When the wings of love's embrace
shelters you from the hidden pains of the soul,
your empathy for others may make you cringe
at the sight of love's incessant demands.
At peace with your shattered dreams
and hurricane like life,
attentively listen to all of love's revelatory dreams.
As love exalts you, so too shall it make you
into a walking cross for the intensified pruning
of your nearly luminescent soul.
Ascending to the greatest of heavens
and supporting the branches
of your nearly extinct faith in mankind's woes,
love shall make you descend to the root
of your sufferings in order to shake
you loose from all that which
is clinging to the mundaneness of being.
Grinding you to the whiteness of spiritual purity,
and rolling the flour of your realizations
into a host of eatable goods,
the grace that is love transforms
you into the delicious bread of God's festivities.
Moved about by love's soothing hands,
loving in a compassionate manner
is the secret of becoming a fragment of love's totality.
Afraid of not exclusively experiencing
the pleasures and highs of love's embrace,
it is then appropriate to cover the
nakedness of your heart
and to become a part of the conventional world
where laughter resounds, but never to its fullest extent.

Please visit this wonderful site which has some precious Zen gems of wisdom: I loved this one:

Story selected from from 'The 10 Very Best Zen Stories'

The Other Side

One day a young Buddhist on his journey home came to the banks of a wide river. Staring hopelessly at the great obstacle in front of him, he pondered for hours on just how to cross such a wide barrier. Just as he was about to give up his pursuit to continue his journey he saw a great teacher on the other side of the river. The young Buddhist yells over to the teacher, “Oh wise one, can you tell me how to get to the other side of this river”?
The teacher ponders for a moment looks up and down the river and yells back, “My son, you are on the other side”.

TaoTe Ching: a wonderful pith guide to wisdom of the Tao by Julian

When the Way is possessing an individual
who is enthusiastic of following the Way
and propagating messages from the Way,
the Way carries an individual's Essential Nature.
When doubts deny the Essential Nature
and prevents the Way from expressing itself,
the Way is sometimes seen and sometimes not.
When there is a total lack of inspiration to follow the Way,
the Way is least heard of and the Way to the Way is lost.
The Way that illuminates
is at once dark and light.
The Way that progresses
is at once reclusive and spontaneous.
The Way that equalizes
is at once categorizing and label free.
The virtue of virtue is empty.
The purity of purity is motivated.
The vastness of vastness is small.
The honesty of honesty is changeable.
What is bounded is limitless
and what is limitless is bounded.
The greatest sound and the greatest image
is formed and formless.
Only the Way is Nameless Perfection.

Rebirth each moment

With each beat of the Heart, we can birth a new reality,
With each moment of stillness, mind becomes steady and
calm,
When Mind and Heart merge into Oneness, infinity is reached
Every seeds bears its fruit, so plant virtue with every breath.
Make virtue your last act!

Sutra Of Innumerable Meanings - The Ten Merits Of Buddhahood

From where does this sutra of innumerable meanings
come from, where does it go and where does
it settle down in, o World Teacher?
Pleased through hearing this question posed to him,
the Buddha responds to the inquiries
of the Bodhisattva of Great Adornment.
Coming from the mind of infinity,
it passes through and settles down in the mind of infinity.
Going nowhere, it leaves from nowhere.
Leaving from nowhere, be at peace.
Being at peace, be with the Buddha nature.
The first merit of this sutra
is that it makes every negative quality into a positive quality
and every positive quality into a formless teaching of the Dharma Wheel.
Overcoming hatred through love
and love through wisdom,
wisdom is what eradicates the darkest aspects
of a living being's heart.
The second merit of this sutra
is that from just one seed or one thought,
a whole ocean of penetrating realizations is produced.
Multiplying in meaning each time
it is read and meditated upon,
the lightning bolt of illumination
encompasses every topic that is worthy of study.
Like a single raindrop,
the raindrop that manages to sink
to the bottom of the fertile soils of the mind
produces an unending amount of healthy and life affirming thoughts.
The third merit of this sutra
is that it can make any practitioner
into a bodhisattva overnight.
Wrestling with fear and anxiety,
either on an individual or planetary scale,
a bodhisattva is born into this world
for the purpose of lifting the meaning
of birthlessness to the born state of every living being.
Though not personally delivered
from the clutches of Mara,
a practitioner of this sutra can perform miracles
in the blink of an eye.
Thinking that you are ignorant of being a bodhisattva,
weakness of heart is what gives a practitioner strength of heart.
Having strength to serve, serve the good qualities of mindfulness.
The fourth merit of this sutra
is that even the most neophyte
of minds will be able to explain
its deeper meanings to others
with the ease of a slowly passing cloud.
The Buddha King and Sutra Queen
grab onto a practitioner's Buddha nature,
nurturing the arising Bodhisattva Son
with the emptiness of love and wisdom.
Combining into a perfected Buddha,
who can say that the Buddha does not live in you or he or she?
The fifth merit of this sutra
is that it can bestow the joy of compassion
and the propensity to make any practitioner
share the internal wealth of Buddhahood
with beggars and kings, alongside scholars and idiots.
The sixth merit of this sutra
is that it will close the gap
that exists between me and the world
since those who are devoted to these innumerable meanings
will preach as I am now doing.
Entrusted with a nation of bodhisattvas,
who else is there but me to interpret
and understand my own teachings and laws?
The seventh merit of this sutra
is that it will push everyone
in the direction of immediate enlightenment.
Perfected in the six perfections
by way of being empty,
the sons and daughters of the
King and the Queen of the Dharma
will personally inherit the bodhisattva nation
as a gift of my charitable heart.
The eight merit of this sutra
is that it will make the mind pure enough
to convert even Buddhas.
Armed with a strong faith in the truth of emptiness,
anything can be accomplished since the Buddha
is the beginning and end of all accomplishments.
The ninth merit of this sutra
is that it will empower those who want to be empowered
into becoming the abode of omniscient mindfulness
and omnipresent compassion.
Simultaneously in all directions,
the mind of enlightenment spreads far and wide
for the benefit of every living being
who is caught in the trap of thinking
that they are worthless and without dignity.
The tenth merit of this sutra
is that it will provide enough medicine
for ordinary living beings to become more than extraordinary.
Uplifting ordinariness into emptiness
and emptiness into compassion,
the compassionate root of the Law
of Buddhahood
is a kind and clear mind that is free
of the desire to be free in relation to others
who are not free or who refuse to be so.
Protecting this sutra of innumerable meanings
as I would protect the Buddha nature,
the benefits and blessings of an infinite amount
of meditative retreats is now the property
of the newly formed Bodhisattva Nation.

Chuang Tzu - The Tao For A Teacher

Equal in regards to the natural elements of being
and to the man made world,
the Tao of understanding is firmly rooted in the harmony of all.
Using the natural wisdom of the elements
leads a practitioner to the innermost core of the Tao,
whereas using the fault ridden wisdom of man
leads a practitioner to prematurely
die within the heart of the world.
You may be overly abundant in
the gains and losses of knowledge,
but that does not solve the problem of human existence.
Knowledge often being the product
of uncertainty and intellectual doubt,
human knowledge is as passing
as the flowering and wiltering of one season to the next.
Only a person who is imbued with the reality of reality
can harness knowledge that is really real.
The ancients who were as real as the Tao
were not against the will of minority groups
and they did not roar with the
confidence of a lion when they succeeded.
Not plagued by the hardships of success
and not pulled in all directions
by the easiness of failure,
the seemingly bright element of mind
did not scorch their sense of internalized dignity.
The ancients went directly to bed
and did not have to worry over
the dream of dreaming.
When breathing, their heels jumped for joy.
Craving after the propensity to crave,
the shallow realizations of the masses
keeps so many from more easily
finding their ultimate purpose in the Tao.
Unbiased towards the growing and diminuation
of any and all bodies, they rejoiced without rejoicing
and beamed with joy for no reason other than being alive.
The ancients thus decided to celebrate the Way of ways
by not directly trying to know the Tao in a linear fashion.
Focused on nothing but the quiet peace of a winter's day,
their hearts were as animated as the varying
phenomena of the four seasons.
When in charge of the world,
sages think of the necessities of ten thousand future generations.
Wishing to be ahead of the times,
stay focused and remain in the serenity of the Tao.
Acting for reputation,
become a silent gentleman.
Withdrawing from nothing,
withdraw into yourself.
Real sages in ancient times possessed nothing,
yet they had everything.
Alone while in the company of others
and while retiring at night,
their openness to change knew no conceivable limit.
Behaving in accordance with the social pressures of the nation,
the transcendence of their silence
amazed enough persons to no longer want to speak.
Acting only when the Tao demanded it of them,
they used their bodies as instruments of unutterable laws.
Not distracted by liking the process of disliking things and places,
Nature's Way was their long awaited friend
on the trail of Authentic Human Strivings.
Powerless in being powerful
and surrendered without having to outwardly surrender,
life and death flickers in the eyes of real sages
as the sun and moon flickers throughout
the passing of unending days and unending nights.
In love with filial devotion,
devote yourself to the transcendence of Reality.
Like fish out of water,
forget about the impediments of the Way
and become the Way out of suffering for others.
This universe weighs us down with a form
that is subject to growing tall like a candle's flame
only to evaporate into the thinest of airs.
What is truly good in life
is also supposed to be truly good when dying.
Hiding the real in the real,
the Tao is in the Tao.
The Way is the reality of the truth
of no form and of no constructed mind.
Rooted in Nothingness,
heaven and earth are its most minute byproducts.
Alchemizing ghosts and gods into sages,
the birthless birth of this universe
is a testimony to its subtle greatness.
Ancient beyond years and young beyond growing,
mountains, rivers, planets and emperors
are nothing in comparison to it.
Ascending to the stars and leaving the empire
and nation behind is he who has attained to the Way.
Approaching a master of ancient years,
the young man asked him how he still could look so young.
Having heard of the Way,
you begin to greatly resemble the Way.
Excited after hearing this initial statement,
the young man wanted to be his disciple.
Wanting to make him into not only a learned teacher
of the Way but into a master of the Way,
the ancient one told the young man to simply sit next to him.
Slowly detaching his mind from the burdensome
memories of peoples and past events,
the young man eventually reached the state
of renouncing the consciousness of the masses.
Once there, he then proceeded to see the clarity of being clear.
After even that stage of disciplined awareness,
he could see the uniqueness of transcending space and time.
Above the humdrum of an incessantly busy world
of traitors and exchangers, he went into
the emptiness of the immortal Tao.
Breaking everything down into its component parts
and re-building the universe one piece at a time,
the peace of a freed consciousness is all that is understood.
From the uncertainess of a writer
to the Void of voids,
the infinite Tao recognized its own luminosity.
Four sages, meeting on an evening walk,
began to speak in riddled tongues.
Having the Tao as my head
and Nature for a spine,
the unity of life and death
is the same for all four corners of this earth.
One day falling sick,
one of the sages lamented for the dire condition
of his body but remarked that he was in a good condition
since his mind was no longer disturbed by the ways of the world.
Looking into the waters as a mirror,
the sick sage saw all of the creative aspects
of the Tao as it was expressing itself
through his formed image of a self.
Gain being the result of the passing of time
and loss being the result of having to live in the Tao,
adapting to the balance of the moment is my way of being happy.
Why be concerned over our dilemmas when these
dilemmas are what fix the mind on negativity and impious situations.
Taking his last breath, the sick sage told his family
of the lasting power of the cosmic energies of yin and yang.
As the universe was forged like a piece of fine jewelry,
this human form will be re-made into
the peacefulness of a silent and majestic mountain.
Going to sleep in this world,
I calmly awaken in the next.
Gladly singing and dancing
over the death of the sick sage,
one sage in particular makes an observant remark
about this seemingly crazed behaviour.
Outside of the realm of social conventions,
sages can see the humor of the Tao in everything
and can make heaven and earth dance with them.
Considering life as a recurring extension of death
and death as a recurring extension of life,
the Tao is most important to abide in.
Mixing eternity with the finite,
the rituals of normality
and the customs of learned decency
do not interest them at all.
The happiness of heaven having the better of me,
we lose ourselves in the performance of the Way.
Out of the ordinary, the Tao of Nature
leads great men into being small men
and small men into being great men.
To such persons, the Way is the Way
no matter how it appears to appear.
Sitting in the forgetfulness of emptiness,
real sages are on an equal footing with the creations of the Tao.

Having as large a following as Confucius,
the sage with one leg makes the most ordinary
into enlightened practitioners of the Formless Way.

Never uttering a word and never hearing anything
besides the primordial sound of emptiness,
this one legged sage outruns the quickest of intellects
and transforms any mind into its deathless state.
Confucius, wanting to highlight the level of attainment
of this sage, said the following about the subtle state of his mind.
Though heaven and earth may cease to turn altogether,
his compassion towards such a sequence of events
will never dry away.
Clearly seeing the source of temporality
and the source of emptiness,
he is the humble director of this cosmic
churning ocean of mindfulness.
As a guardian of the source of being,
all of the Tao moves with him.
Startled by those remarks,
Confucius' companion asked of him
to explain the depth of the statements
that he has just uttered.
Preferring the unity of all things,
he disregards the events of the day
and of the state in order to completely harmonize
with the equality of unity.
Enlightened by the emptiness of his own mind,
the normality of being is his once again.
Just as everyone uses water to perceive
their own reflection, everyone, including the masses,
uses the stillness of his mind to perceive their own innate stillness.
Living out a straight and narrow life,
others are automatically straightened out.
Having control over the day he dies
though having perfect control over his subtle mind,
the deathless state is attractive to everyone's innate ability
to sense and feel the transcendence of the Tao.
As a student of the Antiquity and Obscurity of Nothingness,
I, the one legged sage, am humble enough to say
that I am the virtue of the nation
and of all the intellectual circles.
Governing no one and nothing,
my mindfulness extends to all four corners of this earth.
At ease with what can and cannot be done,
death cheats no one who is virtuous like me.
Receiving the laughter of many for having just one leg,
my master taught me the purity of floating in realms
that are the interiorization of invisibility itself.
Re-visiting Confucius day after day,
the one legged sage announced that he
had something greater and more valuable
than a running and functioning physical body.
Surpassing the need for fame and immortality,
I consider life and death to be one seamless thread
tying all of life together in a bond of eternal friendship.
Though I have nothing that I can call my own
and no position of authority in civil society,
I am nonetheless still capable of harmonizing
the presence of the Tao for everyone
who is receptive to following the Way of ways.
Once handed over a vast territory to govern,
I refused the king's offer for something
that shall not immediately slip out of my softened hands.
Admired for nothing in particular
and congratulated for spending my time on being empty,
my virtue is the reward of a well-balanced life.
As fresh as spring lilies, my subtle mind
outwardly reflects the moods of each changing season.
Still in chaos and in emptiness,
the ruffles and tides of this emotional world
cannot bring me out of my sun stained contemplations.
Complete by virtue's selfless demands,
I never have to scheme my way out of life or into life.
Being one legged has made me one legged.
Being empty has made me empty.
Being the Tao, I am the Tao.
Bowing, Confucius left this master totally bewildered,
afraid that he may be highly realized or greatly insane
due to the wild workings of the Tao.

In the deepest of oceans lies a great fish
who is also a great bird when outside
of its native territories.
Residing in heaven's pond,
this great fish lifts itself out of its
own conditioning to become a whirling mass of energy.
Flying through the air,
what greater wonder is there than a fish
who can fly and a bird who can swim
for an indefinite amount of time
under the lake beds of normal consciousness.
Energy is the collective breathing of oceanic
and sky bound entities.
Is the color of the sky as far reaching as it seems
and is the sky an ocean and the ocean a sky?
Adopting the vision of super conscious entities,
what is ridiculous to the earth bound entities
is not so to the boundless entities.
If the water of your mind is not deep enough,
then nothing that is significantly heavy
will decide to remain within you to float
around the perimeters of your consciousness.
If the air of your contemplations
is not thick enough,
then the bird of transcendence
will find some other place to flap its ancient wings.
Pigeons and other miniscule birds
openly mock the great bird,
saying that its travels and destinations
leads nowhere but home.
In reality, the great bird's journey
is what makes it more than great
and more than capable of leading thousands
of small minded birds back to the real home of the Tao.
Those who are possessed of a small fund of knowledge
cannot naturally understand those who
have knowledge up to the rim of infinity.
In like manner, those who are of ill experience
cannot naturally relate to those who
are the fundamental principle behind all possible phenomena.
Timed by an ever winding clock,
vegetation does not endure for longer
than a night and a day
and bugs of the night do not often
make it to the next coming minute second.
Short lived and ill tempered is that entity
which wants to live longer
than it should, could or would.
There once lived a tree in the center of the Tao.
Enduring for eight hundred springs
and eight hundred falls,
what can we, who live no less than eighty years,
say about life in its sum totality?
So small and insignificant are we
who are predisposed to attaining mediocrity
or perfection in just one general area of life
or in just one intellectual skill.
The true sage laughs at all of life,
knowing what others praise
is not worth the time that it takes
in order for it to become praiseworthy.
Not budging an instance for
those who are attached to distinguishing
between what is internal and what is external,
the boundaries of the mind dissolves back
into the natural awareness of the Tao.
The true sage rides on the winds of heaven
just as he rides on a wild and free horse.
Travelling to the outermost limits of consciousness,
no name and no self is all that is desired.
Meeting someone who is capable of giving
discourses on the most wonderful of phenomena
for rivers on end, that crazy fool said that
there were men who were as fine as dragons
and as versatile as cosmic energy.
Capable of living indefinitely,
who is to believe the mad rantings of the Tao.
The Tao, responding, says that
the blind cannot see the light of day
and therefore cannot appreciate
the wild and tame tides of infinite existences.
Deaf to the sound of wisdom,
look elsewhere besides your mind
for real knowledge of cosmic energy and cosmic events.
Uniting everything into one great entity,
the troubles of politics and social societies
are as unnoticeable by the Tao
as a morning star is to normal finite perceptions.
Left with a huge old tree,
do not consider its ultimate function
to be based on whether it is useable
by small minded bird like entities.
Planting the tree of your heart
in the infinite emptiness of nothingness,
sleep under its cosmic branches
of protection and freeing knowledge.
No axe man being brave enough
to attempt cutting away at its unending roots,
the Tao is perceived as useless to those
who think that they are ultimately useful.
As humble as dirt, allow the Tao
to step all over your pride
so that you may be able to see
what is truly enduring and useful
and what is of cosmic and planetary significance.
Humbled by the Tao,
fortunate are those who hear from you.
