The recent problem that I experienced (like many others in Italy), that is, evicting a non paying tenant from my home after 16 months in the: "one and only Italy" where this phenomenon thrives, has led me to define a profile that may serve as a warning to determine the integrity, trustworthiness and emotional well being of the people one may encounter and should stay away from. This Italian tenant ran up direct costs/debts of 16.000 euros knowing that this would impact the livelihood of the owner as well as volunteer education support activities in Asia. Add to that a snail pace justice system that is protective and favors the perpetrators of most type of offences and shysters (some of whom are just as predatory) that represent their clients: and you are in a veritable black hole. "Justice" is merely a dictionary term more often than not.
These individuals have the capacity to use social/work/emotional stress and their own "victim archetype" that allows them to produce a veritable matrix of prepared defenses that deflect any direct observation on their attempts to dominate any situation threatening them. In other words: they defend their misery and lack of morals at all costs attributing its causes always on external factors and others.
Now it is true that there are genuine cases of distress caused by unforeseen circumstances: however honest people will not disguise them and will attempt a dialogue and compromise. I am referring to those that do the opposite and manipulate the legal system to their advantage.
The observable qualities are:
1) Lack of honesty by representing themselves - using 'con man'cunning - as reliable and reassuring
2) A strong streak of selfishness: their problems, sentiments and sufferings (ultimately self inflicted) define their core nature which is their sole reason for being
3) Running away from direct confrontation of any situation preferring to delay, to abscond, to avoid!
4) Pathological, bordering on a sociopath disregard for the consequences and impacts on others. Unable and uninterested in seeing beyond their own narrow world.and the irreversible damage they cause to themselves and others. Morally and economically
5) They fail to respect the basic commitments made to others
6) Hypersensitivity to any challenge and an overreaction to the simplest observation
7) Extreme paranoia driven by powerful unacknowledged guilt feelings of potentialities unfulfilled and unexpressed.
8) They store (imprint) growing quantum packets of bitterness, resentment and disdain into their consciousness streams leading to an ever expanding contamination of their energy.
Selfishness thus is a mechanism reflective of a failure to function effectively in a constructive, social and altruistic way. The only way for them to survive is to get away with as much as they can, construe an enemy, a cause or a threat of sorts: any enemy will do as its the only means to justify their empty existence.
