As a European, I would just like to express my sincere thanks and admiration to PM Viktor Orban of Hungary for being the only leader in the west to actually reach out and talk to the parties involved in the East European/ Eurasian conflict. No one else from this old continent seems to have been able to come up with this idea which is worrying considering the acclaimed level of "civilization" we are supposed to represent. It does admittedly require vision, courage and intellect which appears to have been the main drawback thus far.

Here is hoping intelligence and wisdom will prevail and that more peacemakers come up.
